C# WPF Using the camera, read the point / line of infrared beam on the surface

Good day!

We set the task to develop an application (WPF) which should be read by the camera point the infrared beam from the surface.

Any surface such as a wall, table, floor, etc. On this surface is facing the camera, which reads only the infrared. On the same surface of the guide device emitter of infrared. At some point, the emitter is activated and sends a short beam on the surface. The objective of the program - to trace the ray and get its coordinates.

Tell me, please, how best to implement it. How to force the camera to read only infrared? Are there any special library (did not find) to solve this problem? In general - I shall be grateful for any information on the matter.
